Paris' Pooch Tries to Escape

Paris Hilton's new puppy got loose over the weekend -- with paparazzi saving the day!

TMZ cameras were outside Hilton's Malibu beach pad this weekend, when her mini Yorkie wandered into the street after sneaking out the front door. Our photog picked up Hilton's canine friend and prevented the adorable little thing (clad in Paris-themed clothing) from running into the street.

After the photog rang her doorbell, Paris came out to grab the puppy, and thanked the cameraman for rescuing the dog. A paparazzo's work is never done.

49. Ok may be it's not animal abuse but i you were a dog and your owner was Paris wouldn't you want to runaway too?

And since went is TMZ racist? In case ya didn't know TMZ shows the good and bad of celebrities that are different races.

50. i dont like Paris but i do have to defend her on this matter.!!
i have a yorkie also and they are so full of energy. I love her to death and always make sure that she is safe. just the other day when i was leaving Jezebell (yorkie) slip out and ran down the street. it took me 30 mins. to catcher b/c of how fast she runs plus she is very small and able to get into place that are hard to reach.

51. I agree with # 5. Its always they don't like us (african-american) crap! I am soooo sick and tired of hearing it. Indians and whites don't even get a mention online or TV and we aren't complaining.

54. Hey, the dog wanted to run out into the street hoping to get killed by an on comming car or truck. Then someone had to save the dog.
Dog wanted to escape Paris and death was the only way out
